HALLOWELL — The Gaslight Theater has announced that auditions for a play called “Boo! Thirteen Scenes from Halloween” at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 16; and at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19 and Thursday, Aug. 21, at Hallowell City Hall. The auditions are for 32 actors which includes seven children between the ages of 8 and 10 or who look like that age group.
With a full moon and a grinning jack-o’-lantern beaming from every window, who doesn’t get just a little spooked at Halloween? This witch’s brew of playlets is designed to make you laugh — and shudder. Each of the 13 stories is a haunt all by itself and is spooky entertainment for the whole family.
“Boo!” was written by Pat Cook and will be directed by Linda Duarte. Production dates are Oct. 24, 25, 26, 31, and Nov. 1. For more information, call 207-626-3698.
