LEWISTON — The following students graduated from Bates College at the school’s 148th commencement ceremony on May 25.

Devon Brown, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William C. Brown of Newry, is a 2010 graduate of Gould Academy. He graduated after majoring in mathematics.

Brown was inducted into the Bates Scholar-Athlete Society, an organization that honors graduating seniors who have achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or have received special nomination from the faculty for outstanding academic achievement in their junior and senior years, and who have participated in a varsity sport for a minimum of three years.

Ali Desjardin, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory J. Desjardin of Auburn, is a 2010 graduate of Saint Dominic Academy. She graduated after majoring in women and gender studies.

She graduated as a member of the College Key, an honor reserved for Bates students who have exhibited outstanding character, academic excellence, campus and community service, leadership and future promise.

Jennifer Bergeron, the daughter of Kathleen T. Bergeron of Lewiston, is a 2010 graduate of Lewiston High School. She graduated after majoring in biological chemistry.

She graduated as a member of the College Key, an honor reserved for Bates students who have exhibited outstanding character, academic excellence, campus and community service, leadership and future promise..

Charles Munn, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kerry C. Munn of Norway, is a 2010 graduate of Oxford Hills High School. He graduated after majoring in classical and medieval studies.

Lyndsay Wallace, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Wallace of Minot, is a 2010 graduate of Saint Andrews School. She graduated after majoring in sociology.

Peter Cowan, the son of Mr. Jonathan G. Cowan and Dr. Julia D. Schubert-Cowan of Bethel, is a 2010 graduate of Gould Academy. He graduated after majoring in German.

Matt Perejda, the son of Michele L. Perejda of Newry, is a 2010 graduate of Gould Academy. He graduated after majoring in mathematics.

Kelly Yardley, the daughter of Mr. Chris N. and Dr. Katherine W. Yardley of Farmington, is a 2010 graduate of Mount Blue High School. She graduated after majoring in psychology.

Chelsea Thompson, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy J. Thompson of Farmington, is a 2010 graduate of Mount Blue High School. She graduated after majoring in economics.

Albert Shi, the son of Hong Lin of Lewiston, is a 2010 graduate of Lewiston High School. He graduated after majoring in physics and mathematics.

Easton Morang, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Keith E. Morang of Winthrop, is a 2010 graduate of Winthrop High School. He graduated after majoring in music.
