The Orono Town Council is applications from residents interested in serving on the RSU 26 board of directors until immediately following the municipal election in March 2015.
The vacancy has been created due to the resignation of Wayne Scott, who is stepping down due to medical reasons in the third year of his three-year term.
The interim school board member will represent the citizens of the Town of Orono and play an important role in establishing the RSU26 2015-2016 school year budget and policy making. Please consider volunteering to serve on this iboard.
Applications are available online atwww.orono.org under “Departments/Human Resources” or at the Orono Town Office. Please submit an application and a letter of interest to the Town of Orono, 59 Main Street, Orono ME 04473 by 4 p.m. Friday, September 5.
