LOVELL — Maine State Police and the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the death of a 3-year-old girl Tuesday.

There is “no indication at this time of anything suspicious,” Sheriff Wayne Gallant said.

Gallant said Capt. Christopher Wainwright and Lt. Thomas Harriman are working on the case with the Maine State Police and there were few details available Tuesday night.

Gallant said the investigation and autopsy are standard procedure in deaths of children 5 years old and younger.
