Lewiston needs Heidi Brooks’ expertise in Augusta
When I think of a person with hard-working family democratic values, I think of Heidi Brooks, Democrat for House District 61, to represent Lewiston in Augusta.
Brooks has years of experience, as she has worked on various issues such as affordable health care, voters’ rights, education, Head Start and community development, including promoting small local businesses. She believes Social Security is not welfare.
She is concerned about the municipal sharing cuts from Augusta and how they have led to Lewiston’s property tax increases, as well as hurting Lewiston schools.
Heidi Brooks needs to be in Augusta, working for Lewiston.
