ALDER STREAM TOWNSHIP — Camp chairs, stuffed bear heads and flashlights were reported stolen Friday from a camp on Route 27 between mid April and Aug. 15, Franklin County Sheriff Scott Nichols Sr. said Monday.
A North Waterboro woman reported that unknown persons entered the camp and spent some time there between those months, sleeping on two futons and using a generator, he said.
Nichols is investigating the case.
When they left, they stole two stuffed bear heads, both more than 40-years old, three flashlights and two folding camp chairs, he said.
No damage was done to gain entry. It is believed the persons who entered the camp knew where the keys were kept, he said.
The keys have since been moved.
