Greene Village Pharmacy, under the direction of Jackie Schomaker, has been presented the first Heart of Hospice Award, given to an individual or individuals who understand and embrace the mission of Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice and its hospice program. “Jackie and her staff are our heroes and truly exemplify the Heart of Hospice,” said Karen Flynn, hospice director at AHCH. Flynn and the entire hospice team at Androscoggin presented Jackie and John Schomaker and Shawn Lavigne the award as a tribute to the exceptional commitment, compassion and support of the Hospice team, patients and their families.
