1996 – 2014

FARMINGTON — Jarrett M. Farrington, 18, of Farmington, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 26, at his home.

He was born in Farmington on March 1, 1996, a son of Michael and Brandi Farrington. He graduated with the Class of 2014 from Mt. Blue High School, where he excelled in classes at Foster Tech.

He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, camping, snowmobiling and many other activities. He was always willing to help a friend, whether they needed help haying a field or getting a 4×4 stuck or unstuck, especially his father’s Jeep. He loved spending time with family and friends, and will always be remembered for the smile he always had on his face.

He is survived by his parents, Brandi Farrington of Wilton and Michael Farrington of Farmington; a sister, Hailey Farrington, of Farmington; a brother, David Farrington, of Jay; paternal grandparents, Joyce and Frank Harris of Wilton; maternal grandparents, Donald and Valerie Farrington of Jay and Roger and Patricia House of Farmington; two aunts, Kristen Harvey and husband, Jason, of Waldoboro, and Pam Carleton and husband, Patrick, of Chesterville; and several cousins.

Jarrett was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Kenneth Farrington; and his aunt, Susie Hutchinson.
