The Auburn-Lewiston Rotary Breakfast Club recently donated $1,000 to the United Way of Androscoggin County Backpack Project to buy 250 backpacks. The backpacks were filled with basic school supplies donated by community partners and individuals and distributed to every elementary school in Auburn and Lewiston. For the donation presentation were Rotary Club President Denis Landry, left, and Larry Marcoux of the United Way.
