Rep. Steve Wood has been a strong advocate for the citizens of Sabattus and Greene during his four years at the State House. As a registered Maine Guide, he is passionate about what makes Maine such a special place.
Wood is an advocate for protecting Maine’s outdoors heritage and traditions, and is a key member of the Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Committee, where he is an advocate for sportsmen. He also knows that small businesses and hard work are an integral part of Maine’s culture.
During his two terms in office, he has worked diligently to ensure that taxpayer dollars are protected, that welfare abuse and fraud are not tolerated, and that businesses are not held back by excessive regulations.
