The L & A Veterans Council group of veterans and guests visited the Maine Veterans’ Home in South Paris and brought gifts to Joel Dutton, home director. Presented were a DVD of the Memorial Day parade and ceremony from Jerry Dewitt, L & A Veterans Council chairman; a check for $100 from Armand Bussiere, VFW Post 9150 quartermaster; a check for $100 from Bert Dutil, Franco Veterans Post 31 judge advocate; and magazines. The council will also visit the Augusta and Scarborough Veterans’ Homes.
