LEWISTON — Funeral services honoring the life of Gaston “Gus” Marquis were held Friday morning, Sept. 5, at Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home, with Deacon Irenee Richard, OP, presiding.

During the service, Gus’s godson and nephew proclaimed a reading from the New Testament. The Prayer of the Faithful was recited by Gus’s niece, Lorrie Potvin. Words of remembrance were shared by Gus’s daughter, Melissa Hartford.

At the conclusion of services, all in attendance greeted the Marquis family with a personal condolence, after which a reception of fellowship was held at The Carriage House banquet facility in Lewiston.

Burial will be held at a later date in the Marquis family plot at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Lewiston. Arrangements were by Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home in Lewiston.
