DIXFIELD — Selectmen will meet with the president of the Maine Chiefs of Police Association at 5:30 p.m. Monday to ask questions about the association’s evaluation of the Police Department.
In November 2013, selectmen voted to pay the association $6,000 to evaluate the department. The association is made up of active and retired police chiefs, sheriffs and senior law enforcement leaders.
After the selectmen reviewed the evaluation, Selectman Hart Daley said there were a couple of conflicting items in the evaluation and he wanted to ask association President Phil Crowell questions in person. Crowell is chief of the Auburn Police Department.
Other items on the agenda include:
* Wind Energy Facility Ordinance discussion and legal review with attorney Kristen Collins.
* Request for use of road reserves.
* Review of the Recall of Elected Officials Ordinance.
* Review of a letter from E & E Awards regarding bid process.
