Lewiston is fortunate to have a great advocate for children in the Maine House of Representatives. For years, through her work on the state’s budget-making committee, Rep. Peggy Rotundo has been not only a leader in education maters, she has effectively spoken out for those whose voice is barely heard.

As a grandparent and aunt of children with developmental disabilities, I personally know how Rotundo has helped so many in our community. Her efforts have not gone unrecognized. She has received the Policy Maker of the Year Award from the Maine Disabilities Council and the Champion for Children from the Maine Children’s Alliance.

We need Rotundo’s voice to continue to be heard on behalf of the children and the families who face these challenges.

Lewiston needs to re-elect Peggy Rotundo to the Maine House of Representatives.
