This is in response to letters to the editor from Leonard Hoy, Robert Lacombe and Richard Grover (Sun Journal, Sept. 7).
They complain and even suggest that President Obama should be “impeached for disgracing America.” They mention the Middle East, Ferguson, Mo., ISIS, Afghanistan, Russia, etc.
They accuse President Obama of indecision, devoting all his attention to a “young black man killed by a white police officer,” and of being on vacation while America is in danger of an ISIS attack.
It is my Christian hope that the attitude of these gentleman is not driven by a racist attitude.
They don’t offer solutions because it is just too easy to blame the liberals. Are they happy with the do-nothing Congress?
Would they be happy if the president put “boots on the ground” in Syria, Iraq, Iran and the Ukraine, and sent more troops to Afghanistan?
They need to have the intestinal fortitude to provide solutions rather than throw rocks.
