JAY — Funeral services for Walter McHugh, “Wally,” of Jay, were held Wednesday, Sept. 3, at 11 a.m., at Wiles Remembrance Center, 308 Franklin Road, Route 133, Jay, with Rhonda Wiles-Rosell as the celebrant.

Personal eulogies were shared by a son, nieces, a daughter-in-law and a brother-in-law. Following services, a reception was held at the Center.

Graveside services were held at Birchland Cemetery on Route 17 in North Jay. Pallbearers were Don Farrington, Jason Farrington, Patrick McHugh, Christopher McHugh, Nathaniel McHugh and Adam Couture.
