On an unusually warm afternoon recently, my husband and I walked to Walton Field in Auburn to see an Auburn Rec football game. What we experienced was something that neither of us will soon forget.

The coaching staff was not only patient and instructive with the team, but the encouragement and positive guidance throughout the game was exceptional.

Great job, coach and staff. Your supportive influence certainly was not unnoticed.

And, oh yes, a thank-you to the coach for introducing players to onlookers as they came off the field of play and encouraging all of us to clap and cheer to praise their efforts.
