1948 – 2014

HEBRON — Patricia Evelyn Collins, 66, of Hebron, died Monday, Sept. 15, at her residence.

She was born in Oxford on Sept. 4, 1948, a daughter of Jesse Everett and Edith (Cushman) Hall Yonuss. She attended Oxford and Hebron schools, and Oxford Hills High School.

Patricia worked in several area shoe shops, including B. E. Cole in Norway, Supreme Slipper in Auburn and Norway Footwear. She also worked at the Bridgton Knitting Mill. Most recently, Patricia worked at Stephens Memorial Hospital as well as Betty’s Laundry in South Paris.

She enjoyed gardening and playing cards and video games. In previous years, Patricia loved fishing, camping and cross-country skiing. She especially enjoyed cooking and baking for her family.

Surviving are three daughters, Julie Gauthier and her husband, Robbie, of Hebron, Penny Dunn and her husband, Phil, of Brunswick and Brenda Perham and her husband, Paul, of West Paris; a stepson, Fred Collins Jr., of South Paris; a brother, Michael Hall and his wife, Jeannie, of Hebron; three sisters, Virginia Slicer and her husband, Ted, of Oxford, Becky Martin and her husband, Jerry, of Hebron and Christine Mason and her husband, Jon, of Hebron; a daughter-in-law, Luanne Hall, of Hebron; six grandchildren, Jessica and Joshua Gauthier, Colby and Sean Dunn and Zach and Luke Perham; and one great-grandson, Roman Rosette.

Patricia was predeceased by her husband, Fred S. Collins Sr., who died on July 30, 2005; a brother, David Hall, in 2006; and a stepdaughter, Sharon Linda Cyr.
