1935 – 2014

PRESCOTT, Ariz. — Richard Kenneth Glover, 79, formerly of Auburn, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 6.

He was born in Lewiston on Aug. 26, 1935, to Dorothy McAllister Ellis and Kenneth Glover.

Dick was a graduate of the class of 1953 at Edward Little, and the class of 1961 at Bates College. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army, and an executive with Towers Perrin.

For 35 years, he owned and lived on a 35 acre estate in Bucks County, Pa. The main house dated back to 1704.

Dick was an avid pilot and lived on an airpark at the time of his death. He was also an active member of the ham radio community with the call sign, W4AOP.

An active RVer, he spent winters throughout the States and the world. When he realized that he was not going to be traveling much in the future, he said, “Let’s go around the world.” So we did!

Dick is survived by his wife of 56 years, Meredith Bragdon Glover.
