Sunday River Resort in Newry tests its snow-making system Friday morning, using 32 guns to dust the T2 trail on Locke Mountain. According to the resort, temperatures overnight reached 29 degrees, about 15 degrees colder than average for this time of year.
With temperatures dipping down to 18 degrees Thursday night, Sugarloaf took the opportunity to conduct an early-season test of its snow-making system, lighting up 15 snow guns on Tote Road.
