UPDATE: Vermont woman killed in Bethel accident on Sunday
BETHEL — A woman is dead and two others injured after a crash on Route 2 in Bethel on Sunday afternoon.
Oxford County Sheriff Wayne Gallant told WGME-TV that an unidentified 60-year-old woman was killed in the three-car accident that happened around 1:30 p.m., diverting traffic to the Sunday River Road for hours.
Gallant had no further information Sunday evening, but Stephen McCausland of the Maine State Police confirmed that troopers were on scene, recreating the crash, WGME reported.
