Rep. Jeff Timberlake is a hardworking, dedicated legislator. With the work he does in running Ricker Hill Orchards, he is an ideal citizen legislator. Citizen legislators are what Maine’s system was set up for — so folks like him who work outside of the Legislature, who have made their living somewhere other than government, can bring real world experience to the State House.

He knows what it is like to raise a family in Maine, and he knows the struggles business owners and farmers face in dealing with regulations and taxes.

He has stood up for right-sizing government, welfare reform and lower taxes and will continue to do so upon his return to the Legislature.

Voters in his district should support Jeff Timberlake so he can keep using his work ethic, experience and common-sense ideas to make Maine a better place to run a business and raise a family.

Rep. Ken Fredette, Newport, House Republican leader
