1945 – 2014

LEWISTON — Christine Louise Marin, 68, of Lewiston, passed away peacefully Friday, Sept. 26, at Montello Manor in Lewiston.

She was born on Oct. 24, 1945, in Waterville, a daughter of the late Ira and Annie (Quimby) Armour. She grew up in the Waterville area and attended local schools. After high school, Christine worked for various shoe factories and mills as a manufacturer. During that time, she was married to her late husband, Rosaire Marin.

She was a member of the Lady of St. Anne Society as well as the Ultreya Movement. She had a fond interest in dolls and enjoyed collecting them.

Christine is survived by her children, David Stone and his wife, Christina of Hampden, Sarah Lee Fisher and Joseph Duprey, both of Connecticut; step-children, Bonnie Taylor, Nanette Couture, Cynthia Poulin and Russell Marin. She also leaves behind two sisters, Carol Zachary and her husband, Robert, of Benton, and Virginia of Lewiston; as well as three grandchildren, Davey Stone and Daniel and Robert Fisher.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Rosaire.
