1947 – 2014

PORTLAND — Diane L. Chabot, 66, of Lewiston died Monday, Sept. 29, at Maine Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

Diane was born on Oct. 23, 1947, to Leo and Marie Moreau, both of Lewiston.

She enjoyed spending time with family and grandchildren, knitting, crocheting, sewing and taking long rides to the ocean. She was an employee of Knapp Shoe and d’Youville Pavilion.

Diane was predeceased by her parents, Leo and Marie Moreau; and daughter, Tammy Lynn Doyle.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Chabot of Lewiston; her son, Richard Doyle and his wife, Gail, of Lewiston; her daughters, Debra Cotton and her husband, Edwin, of Auburn, Danita Mathieu and her husband, Paul, of Lewiston and Danielle Nickerson of Lewiston; also her three step-children, which she considered her own, son, Donald Chabot and his wife, Terry of Lewiston, daughter, Denise Bouchard and her husband, Tony, of Lewiston and son, David Chabot, and his wife, Abbe, of Greene; her eight grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter; her sister, Christine McMahon and husband, Michael, of Greene; and brother, Roland Moreau and wife, Jane, of Texas.
