DEAR SUN SPOTS: There was a vendor at the Yarmouth clam festival with two troughs set up to paint your own silk scarf. I watched a little girl create a masterpiece and now wish I had gotten a card.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: The Turner Center Universalist Church is having a craft fair and white elephant sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday Nov. 8. We are located on Route 117 in Turner Center across from the Leavitt Institute building.
