BETHEL — Over 40 paintings and photographs depicting the natural beauty of the Mahoosuc region are now on exhibit at the Mahoosuc Land Trust. The exhibit will be open until Oct. 17 and the public is invited to view the art Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Many of the pieces of art are for sale and the exhibiting artists have generously agreed to donate a portion of the sale proceeds to the Land Trust.

Winners in the show categories are as follows. Ellie Dufault, first in Art for “Oil Landscape of the Mountains”; Linda Isham, second in Art for “Morning Fog, Round Mountain in Albany”; Rosabelle Tifft, third in Art for “Covered Bridge, Newry”; Jane Chandler, first in Photography for “Dancing Sunflowers”; Lynn Saxton, second in Photography for “Blueberries on Whitecap”; and David Bean, first in Writing for “East Royce.”

Janet Willie helped display the art. Judges were Anne Wood, Dirk McKnight and Aranka Matolsky.
