BIDDEFORD — A Biddeford man has been sentenced to 12 years for trying to secretly video record a fellow employee in a tanning booth at the fitness center where they worked and having sexual contact with a 14-year-old girl.
Thirty-six-year-old Joseph Flister faced multiple counts of invasion of privacy and gross sexual assault resulting from an investigation that started in January.
Police say Flister used a hidden camera to try to record the female co-worker as she used a tanning booth. She noticed the camera and notified police.
That led to a search of his home, which uncovered evidence of the alleged relationship with the teen.
A judge this week sentenced him to 20 years with all but 12 years suspended.
