1952 – 2014

AUBURN — Marjorie A. Knoll, 61, of Lewiston passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Oct. 1, at the Androscoggin Hospice House after years of her illness. She spent her last days surrounded by those who love her dearly.

She was born in New Haven, Conn., on Dec. 17, 1952, the daughter of Arthur and Emily (Beland) Knoll.

She was a huge-hearted woman, who loved freely and gave her all to those she cared for, even if it left her with nothing, and she never asked for anything in return. She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren and making sure they knew they were special and loved. She loved the holidays and family gatherings, embroidery, puzzles, music, arts and crafts, animals, “Shrek” movies and Shirley Temple movies.

She is survived by her daughter and caregiver, Lynn Haddon and husband, Larry Clukey, of Lewiston; daughters, Kimberly Haddon of Lisbon and Bonnie Caron and husband, Daryl, of Auburn; her sons, Scott Knoll of Livermore and David Knoll of Turner; her grandchildren, Savannah, Destiny, Nadine, Ethan, Elijah, Marcus, A.J., Richard, Shannon, Devin and Lakota; and her great-grandchildren, Lily, Aubree and a great-granddaughter to be.

She was predeceased by her husband, Dennis Haddon; infant daughter, Kimberly; and her dear friend, Roland Scribner.

The family wishes to thank the Hospice House for the wonderful care they provided for Marjorie. They also wish to thank the Auburn Kidney Center, select staff at the Marshwood Nursing Home, CMMC and a special thanks to Amy Flanagan for the loving care she showed her Lil Sweet Pea.
