My husband and I had the pleasure to sit and enjoy coffee with Joe Martin (running for Senate District 18). We found him to be very candid about what he stood for which was, in his words, doing what is best for the people he would represent, not party lines.
He was refreshingly honest.
Martin is raising his own campaign money, unlike his opponent who took $23,500 from the Clean Election Fund.
In our conversation, when asked why there were not many of his signs out and about we were told that there had been, but they disappeared. That is sad.
He has the votes of my husband and I. He will not disappoint us.
