United Way of the Tri-Valley Area is gearing up for the 2nd annual Cut-A-Thon to be held Saturday, October 18 from 12 – 4. Area stylists will be donating their time to cut hair and volunteers will be on hand to share information about the United Way. The four participating salons are ready to take appointments for a shampoo, cut, and blow-dry for only $20! All proceeds will help theUnited Way fund programs around Greater Franklin County. Appointment times are expected to fill up so make sure to call and get your preferred time slot! Participating salons are Snippers,226 McCrillis Corner Rd.,Farmington, (779-1144); Hair Razor,600 Wilton Rd.,Farmington (778-4900); Medulla Hair Studio (108 Fairbanks Rd.,Farmington (778-0778); and Silver Shears,399 Wilton Rd.,Farmington (778-9795).
