I write to share my enthusiasm for Rachel Sukeforth’s candidacy to represent Wales, Monmouth and Litchfield in the Maine House of Representatives.

Sukeforth grew up in Litchfield and is in touch with the issues that face Mainers every day. She knows the challenges Mainers face with education and employment in light of a rapidly-changing job market and economy.

As a legislator, she will always be available to listen to her constituents’ concerns and will be guided by what is best for Maine.

Above all, my reasons for supporting her are her personal attributes: she is warm, down-to-earth and practical. She has the diplomacy to work with differing interests to achieve what is really needed from the Legislature: thoughtful, clear, straightforward laws that address real underlying issues with a minimum of bureaucracy.

I will be voting for Rachel Sukeforth.

Delmar Small, Litchfield
