NORWAY — The Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War, Hannah F. Richardson Tent 19 of Stoneham, will meet on Oct. 22 at the home of Marilyn Jones in Norway.
First nominations of officers for the upcoming year will take place.
At the last meeting, plans were made for each member to bring articles to the October meeting for the patients in Togus to give their families for Christmas.
Members are also asked to give a small cash donation toward the tent’s annual holiday check for the activity fund at the Western Maine Veterans Home in South Paris.
A cake was presented to Brenda Woods in honor of her approaching birthday.
Brenda also won the mystery prize.
