FARMINGTON — A Franklin County grand jury indicted a Farmington man Tuesday on a charge that he attempted to strangle someone during a domestic incident on Sept. 13.
Kenneth W. Imlay, 36, was indicted on a felony charge of aggravated assault and misdemeanor charges of obstructing the reporting of a crime and criminal mischief.
Imlay was arrested by Farmington police, Deputy Chief Shane Cote said at the time.
The misdemeanor charges resulted from Imlay attempting to block the victim from calling police. The criminal mischief charge is because the victim’s cell phone was smashed when police were called, Cote said.
