FARMINGTON — A Franklin County grand jury indicted a Farmington man Tuesday on three felony charges of gross sexual assault stemming from a Pleasant Street assault in June.
Farmington police charged Jonathan Dumont Jr., 29, with three Class A counts of gross sexual assault on June 29 after receiving a complaint from the victim, Sgt. Edward Hastings IV said at the time.
Although the victim did not know Dumont, he had been at the victim’s home once before. He had gone back on June 29 to help repair a door, and that’s when the assault occurred, Hastings said.
Each charge is punishable by up to 30 years in prison and a $25,000 fine.
