It was interesting to read the article concerning the YPLAA forum for local candidates in the upcoming election. It included three photos: the group on stage, a member of the audience addressing Eric Brakey concerning corporate welfare, and one of Brakey responding.
It was unfortunate that the photo of that response did not include his answer.
We have spoken with Brakey on a number of occasions and are impressed with his straightforward approach to the issues. He is willing to speak his mind, even when some may consider his approach to state problems to be unpopular.
His enthusiasm and energy are fine examples of the younger generation beginning to realize that something needs to be done about government overreach into people’s lives, and be willing to step forward.
We will be voting for Eric Brakey in November.
