RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Paul J. Woods Jr. was celebrated at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, at Parish of the Holy Savior.

The Rev. Greg Dube was the celebrant, Bernard Poirier was the altar server and Mark Belanger was the organist. Musical selections were “Be Not Afraid,” “Ave Maria,” “Amazing Grace” and Fly Like a Bird.” Both the Old Testament and the New Testament were proclaimed by Sally Arsenault. Offertory gifts were presented by his grandchildren, Michelle and Sydney Woods. Personal reflections written by the family were shared by Sally Arsenault.

Interment was in Farrington-Morton Cemetery. Pallbearers were Nathan Woods, Nicholas Woods, Gregory Woods and Conner Woods. A reception was served by the Daughters of Isabella in the parish hall. Services were under the care and guidance of S.G. Thibault Funeral Home, 250 Penobscot St., Rumford.
