Mexico Town Manager John Madigan said the two-sided kiosk has arrived and is already installed near the new boat landing.
At the Oct. 14 Board of Selectmen’s meeting, he told Gary Wentzell, trailmaster for the Mexico Trailblazers Snowmobile Club, that there is ample room on the kiosk for the club to put announcements and other information on the kiosk if they choose to.
The kiosk, which also provides signage for the Androscoggin River Trail, was placed there by the Androscoggin River Watershed Council. This was done at no cost to the town, although Madigan said the town assisted with installing it.
