I am writing to support Luke Jensen, Republican candidate for House District 58 in Lewiston.
Jensen is a Lewiston native who left to further his education and, after earning his bachelor’s degree, he came back home. While a lot of young people continue to leave Maine to find better job opportunities, he came back to Lewiston to fight for changes so that other young people won’t have to leave.
Maine is a wonderful place to live and raise a family, but if the jobs just aren’t here, the young professionals will not stay. He knows that and is committed to making the changes needed.
He goes to City Council and school committee meetings. Luke Jensen puts in the effort to learn what is necessary to be an effective representative and will be a tireless advocate for Lewiston and the people who live here.
