1977 – 2014

LEWISTON — Harley D. Jamison, 37, formerly of Buckfield, passed away Friday, Oct. 24, at his residence in Lewiston.

Harley was born in Rumford on Sept. 29, 1977, a son of Mark E. and Laurel L. (Leblanc) Jamison. He attended Rumford and Mexico schools and graduated from Buckfield High School in 1995. Following high school, he entered the U.S. Army, in which he served faithfully for three years.

He worked in production for IDEXX Labs in Westbrook. He had also worked installing flooring, drywall and painting, both locally and in Florida.

Best known for his witty charm, he was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors and going to his parents’ camp at East Grand Lake. Harley also enjoyed snowboarding and skateboarding, as well as watching NASCAR, football and hockey.

He lived in Lewiston for five years, moving there from Buckfield.

Surviving are his father, Mark E. Jamison and his wife, Shelley, of Buckfield; mother, Laurel L. Belanger and her husband, Leonard, of Sumner; best friend, Malgorzata Swiontkowska, of Lewiston; brother, Richard Jamison and his wife, Carrie, of Ellsworth; sister, Kayla Belanger, of Auburn; paternal grandmother, Darlene Jamison, of Mexico; stepgrandmother, Norma Colby, of Buckfield; four stepbrothers, Leonard Belanger Jr., Eric Belanger, Earle Varney and Sherman Varney; and a stepsister, Bonnie Belanger.
