AUBURN — A driver and passengers suffered minor injuries Friday night when a driver went the wrong way onto Minot Avenue and collided with a tractor-trailer.

Auburn Sgt. Steve Gosselin said the driver, Sarah Wysocki, 34, of 24 Laurel Ave. in Auburn, was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, operating a motor vehicle after suspension and disorderly conduct.

Wysocki was also charged with endangering the welfare of four children, the passengers in her car.

Gosselin said Wysocki was in the parking lot of Mac’s Seafood at about 9:40 p.m. Friday and turned right onto Minot Avenue between Garfield and Hotel Roads.

“But when she did, she was going eastbound and pulled into the westbound lane,” Gosselin said. “She eventually came into contact with a tractor-trailer that was traveling westbound.”

The children in her car, all younger than 9 years old, suffered minor injuries.

“It looks like some of them had minor scrapes and bruises only,” Gosselin said. “There were no injuries to the tractor-trailer driver.”
