DIXFIELD — Graveside services celebrating the life of Helen F. Mitchell of Rumford, and formerly of Dixfield for many years, were conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31, at Riverside Cemetery in Dixfield, with the Rev. John Gensel officiating.

The eulogy, written by her sister, Jean Haynes, was read by the Rev. John Gensel. Words of remembrance were given by Judy Horne, who also read the words of Frank Sinatra’s song, “My Way”. The 23rd Psalm and The Lord’s Prayer were recited by those in attendance. A reception followed at the Dixfield American Legion Hall.
