SABATTUS — Unofficial election results tabulated just before midnight on Tuesday show Michelle Ames, Andre Marquis and Jeffrey Baril all headed back to the Board of Selectmen.
Ames, who had previously served on the board, received 878 votes to Norm Estes’ 608 and Les Gibson’s 401 for the open three-year seat, according to Town Clerk Judy Fournier.
In the race for the open two-year seat, Marquis won with 998 votes to Paul Loesberg’s 466 and Mark Pare Sr.’s 404. Marquis had served on the board previously and was appointed this summer to temporarily fill in when Paul Gagne resigned.
Baril took the race for the open one-year seat on the board, receiving 1,112 votes to Randy Gayton’s 770. Baril has also served on the board in the past.
The town’s other races were not contested. Roland St. Amand and Richard Lacombe were both voted Sanitary/Water District trustees with 1,276 and 1,070 votes, respectively.
Robert Gayton Jr. was returned to the Regional School Unit 4 board with 1,707 votes.
David Marsters Sr. was returned to the Budget Committee with 1,586 votes.
