FARMINGTON — Andrew Lackoff, MD, has joined the medical staff at Franklin Memorial Hospital.

He assumed his new position in November, joining Dr. Peter Cordner, Dr. David Hyde, Dr. Larry Labul, Dr. Todd Miller and physician assistant Tim Davis in staffing the Franklin Memorial Hospital hospitalist service.

Hospitalists are specially trained physicians and physician assistants who care for patients during a hospital stay from admission through discharge.

Lackoff most recently was a hospitalist at Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport. Prior to that, he was an emergency physician at St. Andrews Hospital in Boothbay Harbor. He is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine.

Lackoff and his wife are the parents of two adult children. He is an outdoor recreational enthusiast who enjoys kayaking, skiing, hiking and gardening. He is also a musician.
