Recently, I was watching a football game on television. It was announced that the temperature was 35 degrees there. One of the television announcers had on a heavy overcoat and gloves, but no hat.
I have been told by some reliable people that 70 percent of a person’s body heat is lost through the head. Perhaps that announcer didn’t know that, or just didn’t care.
My parents always told me that if it is cold enough to wear a jacket or coat, be sure to wear a hat.
