The Christmas in the Valley committee is preparing for the annual Christmas in the Valley craft fair that will be held from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, at the Mountain Valley High School.
At this craft fair we hold a cookie walk with proceeds going to the Christmas in the Valley scholarship fund that benefits seniors at Mountain Valley and Dirigo high schools each year.
We are asking all you bakers to bake two-dozen cookies (or more) of any kind and donate them to this cookie walk. Last year we had 75 dozen cookies to sell and we would love to beat that amount this year.
Cookies can be dropped off before 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, at Franklin Savings Bank on Congress St.
