BIDDEFORD — The Biddeford man charged with starting a fire that killed two people is also facing a concealed weapons charge.
The new charge against 18-year-old Dylan Collins was originally impounded, but some documents in the case were made public Wednesday at the request of the Portland Press Herald.
The York County district attorney had asked to have the case sealed on grounds that release may have compromised the ongoing arson investigation.
The complaint does not say whether Collins had a concealed firearm when he was taken into custody last week.
Collins is being held without bail on murder and arson charges in connection with the Sept. 18 fire that killed 21-year-old James Ford and his roommate, 23-year-old Michael Moore.
Collins’ lawyer did not respond to messages.
