KINGSTON, R.I. — The University of Rhode Island Theatre Department presents the award-winning musical, “Avenue Q.” URI performers bring the cast of characters to life in a production that’s “part flesh, part felt and full of heart.”

URI student Emma Walker of Naples, Maine, will be featured in the production of “Avenue Q,” as Kate Monster US and Ensemble.

The cast includes three human and 11 puppet characters manipulated by unconcealed puppeteers. Though some characters are fun-loving puppets, the play is not intended for children.

“Avenue Q” runs Nov. 13-15 and Nov. 20-22 at 7:30 p.m., with additional performances Nov. 16 and Nov. 23 at 3 p.m. in the Robert E. Will Theatre in the URI Fine Arts Center, 105 Upper College Road in Kingston. Call 401-874-5843 to purchase tickets or buy at web.uri.edu/theatre/current-season.
