LEWISTON — The Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce will host a seminar on workplace violence from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, at the chamber, 415 Lisbon St.
Preparing for Workplace Violence will be be presented by Quentin Chapman of Corporate Intelligence Inc. He will take a close look at mitigation, preparedness and response to violent situations inside or outside of the workplace and schools. There will also be a look at emergency action planning and how it affects employee, staff and student ability to make urgent, rapid decisions during a crisis, minimizing damage and loss to life and property.
Check in and continental breakfast will be available from 8 to 8:30 a.m., with the seminar beginning promptly at 8:30. Cost is $25 for members, $50 for nonmembers. To register, call 783-2249 or go to: www.androscoggincounty.com.
