1931 – 2014

ORLANDO, Fla. — Charlotte Malo Deschesne, 83, of Altamonte Springs, Fla., passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 12.

She was born in Lewiston on July 10, 1931, to Marie-Blanche Lessard and Emile Malo.

Charlotte was one of the founding members of “The Lucky Ones,” a club for families with adopted children. She enjoyed Yahtzee and was an expert at pinochle, but was most fond of bingo!

She is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, Marcel; son, David; daughter, Katharin and husband, Scott Burkhardt; daughter, Elizabeth and partner, Mary Godard; beloved grandson, Mathew Godard; and dear nieces and nephews.

Charlotte was predeceased by her parents; a sister, Marie-Therese; and brother, Henry.
