1966 – 2014

LISBON — Richard Joseph Lemay, 48, of Lisbon, died peacefully on Monday, Nov. 17.

Richard was born in Lewiston on March 27, 1966, a son of Roger and Lorraine (Poulin) Lemay. He attended local schools and was a graduate of Lisbon High School.

Richard was the owner and operator of “Lemay’s Enterprise,” his independent truck driving company — a job he loved.

When Richard wasn’t working, he was enjoying the outdoors. He liked to snowmobile, hunt and fish. He especially enjoyed deep sea fishing.

Richard was a loving son, brother and uncle and loved to spend time with his family. He will be dearly missed by all his loving family and friends.

Surviving are his mother, Lorraine Lemay, of Lisbon; a sister, Linda Hinkley, of Wales; and three brothers, Daniel Lemay of Lisbon, Gary Lemay and his wife, Tammy, of Bowdoin and Jean Lemay and his wife, Grace, of Lisbon Falls. Also surviving are his nieces and nephews, Keith, Heather, Amy, Bethany, Hunter, Roger and Destiny.

Predeceasing Richard was his father, Roger, in 1982; a brother, Paul, in 1980; and a brother-in-law, Charles.
